RIght now, my PC is dual-booting Windows 7 32-bit and Windows 7 64-bit on separate partitions. I now don't need the 64-bit version since it is just taking up space, so i want to delete it, however, I read on the microsoft website that if i delete the earliest version, then the system is inoperable. But, these two are the same - so there is no earliest version? I am confused by this and i don't know if it is safe to delete the Windows 7 64-bit.
Note: I installed the Windows 7 32-bit first, then about a month or two later i installed the Windows 7 64-bit onto another partition.

The earliest version is the first OS you installed. It should just be a matter of deleting the 64-bit partition because it shouldn't have the bootmgr stuff on it since you installed it second.
