It's temps are a bit high (~93*C in load, testing with prime95 blend test. Idle around 40*C) the voltage seems fine when idle (0.7v), when in load the voltage is 1.2v. but what I find weirdest is that sometimes when playing games and such (using the cpu) say with prime or something, usually the turbo clock doesn't go all the way and the cpu doesn't go over 4.2ghz.
I also tried to render a video in sony vegas pro 13 (1920x1080 @60fps)
It was a 5 minute long video which took like 7 minutes to render... I thought that was a bit long so I tried to find others rendering results but couldn't find any.
I don't believe the chip is bad, because I've already RMA'd a chip with the exact same problems, which leaves me to believe that it's because of the motherboard
Using a XMP/ not using a XMP profile does not effect the issue.
(I am using the stock cooler
specs: Asus z97-a (bios version 2205)
gtx 970 g1 gaming
