I have Dell XPS 8500. I am trying to upgrade to 64 GB ram (4x8GB) . I purchased 4 Crucial Ballistix 8GB DDR3L - 1600 CL9 Sport Low profile dimms. System is only reading 16gb. Have tested all the dimms and all check out without errors. Prior to RAM upgrade only two of the slots were in use - each with a 4 gb dimm. Problems with MOBO ram slots perhaps? All dimms firmly seated in slots, checked multiple times.
