Hello,
I own a Sony VAIO and recently the AC Adapter gave out. The adapter's model number is VGP-AC19V26. It is a 19.5 V 4.7 A AC Adapter, but I can't find anywhere it's wattage (on the adapter itself or on the internet). About the model number of the laptop itself, there is a sticker that says "Product name: VPCSE1AFX" (small white sticker), but there is also a large black Sony sticker that says "MODEL PCG-41411L", so I am not sure which of these is the actual product model.
My question is: Can I purchase any AC adapter, as long as it's 19.5 V and 4.7 A, or do I need to get one with the exact wattage? And if so, then where can I find out the wattage needed?

Solution
Watts = Volts x Amps, which in your case is 91.65; essentially a 90W adapter. Newegg has quite a selection.
Edit: The other critical factor is tip polarity (whether the center is + or -). A universal adapter that includes a variety of tips could be used; just pick the one that matches your laptop's power jack.
