My bluetooth headset is connected to my desk phone, can I put a dongle in my computer and listen to music?

All I can suggest is you try it. It should work. You certainly won't break anything by trying it, I'm surprised you didn't try before posting.
Worst scenario is that you may have to remove BT dongle from phone as headphones may not like being paired to two devices simultaneously.
