Hello,
Recently I have been experiencing blackscreening and rebooting when playing games like guild wars 2 and Arma 3. When I'm playing a game my screens will go to black/grey for a bit, then I'll see my desktop one more time before my computer restarts.
When it blanks out before it restart I can still hear audio from Skype.
What I have tired to fix it was replace graphics with a new one. I also memtest86 the ram with 3 pases with no errors. I changed the position of the graphics card on the mother (pcie slots). Tried different versions of the graphics card drivers.
Lastly the temptures do not get extremely hot in the system.
Thank you for your time.

My Specs
Intel i7 4970k 4.0 ghz
MSI Gaming 7 motherboard
32 Gb ram ddr3 G.skill snipers
730 PSU
Windows 8.1 64bit pro

Solution
Hmm Raidmax ZX 500 is one of the worst reviewed power supplies ever. So I do not have respect for any of their other products.

But do you not have anything in this location c:\windows\minidumps? C:\windows is your windows installation folder.

I will suggest you check your system with only one RAM stick. If it has no problem, then mismatched memory may be a problem. Also run Memtest86+ for all passes and see if it gives any error.

If no, we may assume, the PSU is causing the trouble.

Run the memtest for all 8 passes. It eliminates the RAM. Believe me, I have seen errors in the last pass. It sounds like a Ram problem. What PSU do you have?

Also download bluescreenview and let us know what the error is.

If it was the RAM you would have BSOD's. It is the PSU. Bad PSU causes restarts like what you are having. Check all MOBO connections first. A bad connection could cause this as well.

I swapped the PSU with another PSU. No crashes at all in a 3 hour session
