r9 290 vs r9 280x!

Hey guys I want to get a new graphics card, and I can't decide between the r9 290 vs r9 280x.
I have these 3 cards to choose from :
r9 280x :

Is the r9 290 worth the extra 60-70 euros?
What about NVIDA counterparts? Any that are cheaper for same performance?

I would say go with the 290 sapphire tri-x, in my opinion going into the future the 4gb of vram will help along with the wider memory bus. So I would say it is worth the extra euro's.

The 280x is a very potent card, it's also a great value. Go for it.

Nvidia doesn't really have much to offer at the mid price range. At low price you have the 750Ti which is great for PCs with weak PSUs. At high end you have the 970s and up, which are great cards.
