laptop motherboard and desktop graphic card to one power supply

I planning build desktop, I have laptop motherboard and desktop graphic card together. What both connector only one power supply?

I have laptop motherboard from old Compaq laptop and desktop graphic card is NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GS, I build both together will work. I don't want use two power supply, how use only one power supply?

Without asking the question of why you'd want to do that, what voltage does the motherboard want from its adapter? Assuming it's in the 12-20V range, I'd try feeding it 12V from the GPU's power supply. 12V should be enough for the motherboard's voltage converters (at least in the ones I've seen; the nominal 19V is only needed to charge the battery).

You'd need 4 separate 5V power supplies. All the 5V leads on a single PSU share a common ground so you can't stack them in series.

Are you actually trying to charge a laptop battery with this? If not, it should work with 12V as this is about what it gets when running on battery power.
