Hi to all.

I just bought a brand new ASUS M5A97 R2.0 (on the board it says rev.1.00) a FX-6300, 2x4gb Gskill 2133mhz and a seasonic M2II520W and i'm using my old HD7750 and hard drive for testing (i also bought a new SAMSUNG 850EVO but i haven't instaled it yet)

The problem it's that after instaling everything i don't have video on my monitor; i tested the psu, rams and video card on another pc and they work perfect, but for one reason that i can not figure it out my main pc doesnt work.

I connected a speaker and it beeps normal, just one short regular beep.

I don't know what to do and i don't know how to start; i think i tried everything, switching the vga on the second pci slot, using another rams, one by one, in every slot, i just don't know what to do.

My doubt is behind the fact that the mobo says "rev.1.00" on the pcb so maybe the bios doesn't recognize the processor?

Any help is welcome and if you guys think that the bios is the problem can you help me to update the bios (i can do it without having video on the screen??)

Thanks in advance and sorry for my grammar mistakes-

GPU power cable(s) connected? Lights and fans look like it's alive? Have you tried resetting the CMOS? If it's in the case, have you tried breadboarding it to make sure nothing's shorting?

You wouldn't get the single short beep if the BIOS didn't recognize the processor so that shouldn't be the problem.

The HD7750 drains the power from the socket, it doesn't have a 6/8pin connector :) Lights and fans look like it's alive. I tried resetting the CMOS and even removing the battery and putting it back.

I don't know what does "breadboarding" mean :/ if you can explain it would help me a lot.

"Breadboarding" means to build the system outside the case, with the motherboard sitting on a nonconductive surface (like the motherboard box, or a wooden board). Just the essentials: CPU/heatsink/fan, one stick of RAM, video card, and PSU. You don't need to hook up a drive if you're just trying to get it to display video.
