Hi all,

I am currently experiencing Low FPS in most Games (Except CS:GO because that doesn't require anything xD). I have an ASUS DirectCU II HD 7970 and overall it has been a pretty beast card.

My problem though is I am running Medium Settings (in Games where I should be able to run Ultra) and getting 60fps with VSync off.

So my question is what is currently the best drivers for AMD.

Sadly though, and please note whenever I try to update to some certain drivers, whenever I try and launch games a weird thing happens with my PC, as I enter a game my screen stops responding, shows a solid colour, with light patterns in the back of the screen. So I need really solid drivers that should be able to restore my FPS in the current games.

Solution
My PC:

OS: Windows 8.1 Professional 64-bit Activated

CPU: Intel Core i5 3570k 4.4ghz
CPU Fan: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo CPU Air Cooler
GPU: ASUS Radeon HD 7970
RAM: 2x4gb 1600mhz Corsair Vengeance
PSU: Corsair HX750 80+ Gold
Case: NZXT Guardian 921 Blue <3
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB, WD Blue 500gb (TV & Movies)

That's my build currently (except I'm mixing RAM, 1 ram chip broke so now its 1x4gb Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz (brought down to 1333mhz) , 1x4gb Kingston (1333mhz)

how bout downloading the newest amd driver i think its the Omega 14.12

use DDU (device driver uninstaller) - to have a clean uninstall of your previous drivers, then install the new updated drivers.

if that does not work, provide us your whole system specifications.
