I've been having a small problem while trying to lock FPS in games so that my GPU wouldn't heat up for frames I can't see.
In Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4 I've managed to do it. I've turned on V-Sync and locked FPS via cfg file at 59 FPS - now I have smooth experience with no mouse lag.
In CS GO, however, this didn't work. I can still feel mouse lag and knowing how competitive this game is, I don't want to be at a disadvantage.
So here's my question: is there a better way to lock FPS at 60 (or close to it) with no screen tearing and mouse lag?
