As the question says What should I do to Cool the NB,VRM and Power Phases?
As I m overclocking my cpu i5 4690k with Z97 Sabertooth mark 2
Case Corsair 400R
Corsair H100i

Airflow over the VRM and NB heatsinks will help.

A back-side vent and fan blowing onto the back of the motherboard near the CPU socket and VRM will also help quite a lot. Dropped my Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 CPU socket and VRM temps by 6-8c just adding a back side fan.

A good case with this kind of vent is the Rosewill Blackhawk.

Look at the pictures and you can see it in one of the shots of the inside of the case.

It might. You need to "visualize" the airflow. Where is cool air coming from and where is warm air exiting? Does that path take the air over the areas you want to cool? A rear exhaust fan will usually pull air across the VRM area. A side intake fan might push cool air over the northbridge.

Here is my solution :

I use : Scythe Grand kama cross2 and a pair of 60x10mm fans (they are hooked with zip ties) and I reduced their rpm with zalman fanmate2.

I strongly recommend that U guys avoid using tower type cpu coolers such as mugen2, noctua, C.M. Evo...etc, cause these DON'T PROVIDE AIRFLOW to NB and VRM area. Motherboard designers accounted for waste air from top-down (down-draft) cpu coolers NOT FROM TOWER TYPE. Water cooling also creates heat problems but is easyer to get a "workarround" as can be seen in following link.

I hope that this is helpfull to you guys. (hint:zip-ties ;) )
