Here is the build - The parts in bold have already been purchased... FYI - This is my first build. I am hoping it to achieve both a great gaming performance and a great multi tasking performance with a bit of added future proofing - if that's actually possible in the PC universe!?...

CPU - AMD FX 8350 = £127.00
MOBO - Asus M5A99FX PRO 2.0 = £109.97
RAM - GeIl EVO Leggero (2x8GB) DDR3 1866MHz = £98.68
GPU - Sapphire R9 285 Dual X OC = £119.99
STORAGE - ORZ ARC100 240GB SSD = £59.99

CUP HOLDER - Cheapest Blu Ray drive I can find = £40.00
PSU - XFX TS 750Watt 80+ Gold = £69.72
CASE - BitFenix Neos Tower ATX Window= £39.75

Total = £665.10

No aftermarket cooler yet as I am staggering the build at this stage with the intention of adding a liquid CPU cooler and another Sapphire R9 285 Dual X OC GPU - to go crossfire - at a later date - At that stage overclocking the CPU will begin...

I have a few questions please...

1) Is the FX 8350 worth the extra money over the FX 8320 - I noticed the benchmarks were very close, but the 8320 is quite a bit cheaper. From what I have read it seems the 8320 is the same chip as the 8350 - simply overclocked at a higher rate by default - Is this true?

2) Bearing in mind I intend to both OC the CPU and add another 190W R9285 will the 750 Watt Gold PSU be enough - Or am I better of investing in a higher wattage product?

Thanks guys...

If you want it future proof then get best CPU possible now and you can upgrade the rest later.

AMD FX 9370 is very cheap today on Amazon.co.uk for £165

650w PSU is more than enough, this EVGA is 80+ gold and fully modular for good price.

With PSU having too strong PSU is also bad cause it is working bellow it's optimal wattage.

An FX9370 requires a motherboard that can handle the power requirements and will require liquid cooling in most situations. DON'T get a 9370 unless you have the required infrastructure. If you are going to get an FX83xx you should get the "E" model. They are only 95W, rather than 125W.
