I have a desktop pc with amd 5600k quad core cpu @ 3.6ghz and turbo @ 3.9 ghz.So I overclocked it at 4ghz and when I boot Windows 7 the system is unstable, although the temp is fine with stock cooler at 64 degrees maximum. So please help me to make it stable while it is overclocked.

You might try raising the voltage up a bit, but be careful you can fry your cpu with too much voltage. Is your PSU big enough for the extra wattage?

I am not super smart at over clocking, but I think you are hitting the ceiling without touching the voltage. I had a cpu that was 3.4 stock 3.6 turbo and I got it to 3.8 without voltage before it was unstable.
