Manufacturer : Kingston
Type : DDR2-SDRAM PC2-6400 (399Mhz)
Size : 2048 MB (1 ranks, 8 bank

i used to have 1 x2GB DDR2 and it was working correctly
but after i bought 2x2GB DDR2 and im having this reservation from my hardware

No it isn't "reserving" memory, your just using it all up with everything you 'load' all the time on boot.
Use a simple tool like AUTORUNS.exe to turn off all the extra stuff loading, but you still will normally eat up 1-2GB just loading the OS, Antivirus, etc. Your real solution would be to go 8GB if you need more RAM on your system, but considering the very old age *DDR2) it isnt' worth the investment, as this system is way past it's performance > cost ratio.

Yeah it WOULD as you have ONBOARD Video http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3485#ov
Which takes a portion of your RAM and puts it to the GPU onboard to use. If you mistakenly set it in BIOS you could have up to 2GB or can be (per the Mobo Manual) also a default that you can't get around (thus need more RAM as I mentioned).

Again though, this is a OLD DDR2, so it isn't even worth the matter of cost VS performance when a new system with the same amount of money put into it would be more performance for the same sort of costs.

Did you add 1x2gb or bought a new set?

Don't think the memory controller can adress more than 256mb to the onboard vid. so 2gb is way to much imo to be hardware reserved.

You should go to "MIT" in the bios then look at " DDR2 OverVoltage Control" and it allows you to set memory voltage.

Normal Supplies the memory voltage as required. (Default)
+0.1V ~ +0.4V Increases memory voltage by 0.1V to 0.4V at 0.1V increment.
Note: Increasing memory voltage may result in damage to the memory.

So set it to +1 and save with F10+Y.
I did put the warning there, but +1 should normally be fine.
