Is this build good enough for 3d rendering, modelling, animation and other stuff related to 3d and gaming?

It's fairly good, Although I would recommend changing some parts.
I didn't change the Titan X but I wouldn't recommend it, too overpriced.
And I also didn't change the Storage, But Caviar black and a 500GB SSD are overkill. WD Green and a 250GB SSD is enough.

I would buy an FX-9590 and ASRock 990FX Extreme motherboard. Your CPU is $90 or so more expensive than the FX-9590, and you can buy it minus the fan/heatsink, letting you buy an aftermarket one. (which you will need, this being the only CPU I have seen with a stock WATER COOLER.) The fact that it has eight cores makes it much better for video editing and such. If you were a gamer I would certainly go with the Intel build, but video editing does really use those eight cores.

@bsod1, I've read that the Titan X is a rendering beast, why did you swap it with the 980? I'm not really into Noctua because their colors look like sh*t, and I'm going to be making a Krait themed build. The case looks quite fine to be honest,
What do you think of this build?

@ComputerSecurityGuy, I'm not on good terms with AMD lol, a LOT of people have recommended me not to go near AMD. I see your point, but I really prefer Intel over AMD. Thanks for the reply though!

if you want the Titan X.

the 5820k makes more sense if you want better performance per dollar
