AMD Video Card Dual Monitor Issue (video)

This seems to be a issue many people having running a AMD card. It's just not flickering it also goes complete black screen at times. Very often with IE, Visio, and I have an HD 6850. I did some research and seems to be clocking issues or memory speed on the card and I've tried to adjust them but no luck. Hoping the community would help me resolve this issue. Don't have the money to buy a card and probably going back to nVidia in the future. I know the card is a bit old but this problem has started after about 6 month of use.

thats a new one, never seen that before. Have you tried swapping the monitors? remove the dvi cable from the left, and plug into right, and swap sides, see if it does it with monitors reversed and plugged into different outputs? I have dual screens and this never happens to me, AMD card user. I also used to have a powercolor hd6850 set up with dual screen also, and never had the issue.

I've tried that the moment it started to occur also swapping DVI cables. I even swapped out one of the monitor for another and it will occur with the new monitor. I have an XFX~

ok, sounds like a bad output then. You could try re-flashing the BIOS, that could help.

I've just reflashed the bios and updated it. No luck still having the same issue.
