What's the best way to Stream/Record?

Lately I've been trying to stream my games and I've been using OBS for that. It's eh quality and doesn't cut my frames; however, I'd like to increase the quality. I'd also really like something to record my game play with that's better than OBS. I've been trying Mirillis Action, but it's taxing on my CPU, isn't really as great quality as I've been seeing on other videos, and it cuts my FPS in half. I'd prefer not to buy or download another software because of the ramifications it might have on the quality, but if there's a good one you recommend I appreciate it. I've been contemplating on buying an Elgato HD60, but I'd likely being using the same computer to record game play, render and edit because my laptop is not that great. So might it affect my PC as much as any software if I do so? Does anybody have any good hints or tools to use? Thanks.
