having an issue with my PC lately, i've had this exact build for well over a year now and this issue has only started happening in the past few weeks - no clue why!
basically, when i leave my PC on for a few hours (sometimes less) the sound will just cut out completely and certain applications will fail to load (when i say fail, i mean i'll double click for example battlefield 3 and nothing happens). also Youtube videos won't play.
Anyway a reboot solves this but that's not really a permanent solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

16gb 1600mhz ram
I've ran a memtest on RAM and a HD Tune Pro test on my SSD to rule out any failures there.
