Computer crashes without blue screen while gaming

I am currently having an issue with my computer crashing while playing certain games(only some cause the crash ex:borderlands and the witcher). When the computer crashes, it will either completely restart, or have the display shut off with the sound still going and restart shortly after. Both of these do not result in a blue screen, so I have been unable to determine the direct cause of the crash. I have checked the temperatures of my cpu and gpu and they both remain under 75C during max load. I have also put my computer through several benchmarks including the heaven benchmark & 3DMark, but neither of them have the crash. I have tested my ram and had no errors. My computer is not using any over clocked settings. I'm running out of ideas about what could be causing the issue. I am also short on money for replacement parts so I am hoping that this is just a software issue that i can fix. If not, I will just have to return some games after buying.

My computer specs:
Windows 7 64 bit
Nvidia GTX 660
Intel I5 4570
MSI Z87-G45 Gaming motherboard
8g ram

Any help is greatly appreciated and thank you in advance.

I'll try it as soon as I get another psu available, but would that cause the computer to crash only with certain games?
I have played games that run my computer harder than the ones that crash it, as well as the benchmarks to stress them system.
Yet neither of those will cause the computer to crash.

1 of 2 things could be the problem, videocard or psu. sound is still playing so it is not cpu, ram or motherboard. with another psu & still have a problem then it is the videocard. if no problem then it was the old psu was causing the problem.
