Solution
Something like this maybe:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Video Card: XFX Radeon R9 280 3GB Black Edition Double Dissipation Video Card ($179.99 @ Newegg)
Case: Thermaltake Commander MS-I Epic Edition (Black/Red) ATX Mid Tower Case ($48.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Power Supply: XFX 550W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($58.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Total: $287.97

Graphics card and PSU are solid and won't let you down. But always hard to recommend a case, everyone has different tastes so I try to find something I think looks cool, lol.

There shouldn't be any problems moving everything from the prebuilt case into the new one, you shouldn't have to buy anything else.

That is an awesome price for that video card, I was leaning towards recommending a GTX 960 until I saw that R9 280 for $60 off. Your next upgrade should be the motherboard and cpu, but you'll still notice a heck of a difference in games with the new video card.

It's fine, helping people with computer questions doesn't bug me :)

No, the R9 280 requires a 550 Watt PSU or above. Also that EVGA is "okay" quality at best and not really recommended for gaming and not rated for high amounts of stress.

For EVGA you need to get the B2, G2 or P2 models, those are extremely good quality.
