My micro SD card can't be read for no reason (though I conclude that it's because I dropped my phone). My phone doesn't show files stored in the micro SD card. And the phone shows that I have a blank micro SD card and suggests that the micro SD card should be formatted. I clicked the format button but it went on again displaying that I have a blank micro SD card. The computer doesn't read it too. Is there a way to recover files from my micro SD card that can't be read? Or should I format it first, then have the files recovered?

Hello,

Try this 1.

Check whether the files are not in hidden mode. Follow the following steps.

Step 1:

Click on the below link and download the file "AutorunExterminator"

http://en.kioskea.net/download/download-11613-autorun-exterminator

Extract it --> Double-click on "AutorunExterminator" --> Plug your memory card

now.

This will remove the autorun.inf files from your memory card and also from

the drives.

Step 2:

Click on "Start" -->Run --> type cmd and click on OK.

Here I assume your memory card drive as G

Enter this command.

attrib -h -r -s /s /d g:\*.*

You can copy the above command --> Right-click in the Command Prompt and

paste it.

Note : Replace the letter g with your memory card letter.

Now...

i think you should use this guide to get your sd formated first, but after formating you may won't get the data back
here's the link http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-2476428/format-memory-card-longer-formatable.html
and if you won't format then use these software
there are other software called, "testdisk 7.0" "iso buster 3.5.0" find and mount , but as far as i have used testdisk 7.0 is best one an dthe iso buster 3.5.0, download any of these and read manual and your data recovery is guarented !!!
i will recomend testdisk 7.0 as it's free to use

Step 3:

After that, download the Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from the below link

http://en.kioskea.net/download/download-105-malwarebytes-anti-malware

Update it --> Perform "Full Scan"

Note : Default selected option is "Quick Scan".

Good Luck.
