Hi I'm looking to build a gaming pc for around $1500. It will be used primarily for gaming but I will also use it for internet research and maybe writing papers. I've done a little research online and came up with the following build. Any advice would be appreciated. Id like to know what you thought of the build and if I should change anything. I really would like to have great graphics. Also any ideas of where to buy parts from would help. I would like to not have to upgrade anytime soon. Here's the build I found.

Motherboard
Asus Z97-A ($153)

CPU

Intel Core i7-4790K ($338)

CPU Cooler

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO ($35)

RAM

Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz ($130)

Video Card

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 4GB ($360)

System Drive

Crucial MX100 128GB ($67)

Storage Drive

Seagate Barracuda 2TB ($70)

Optical Drive

Asus 24x DVD Burner ($21)

Case

Corsair Carbide Series Black 400R Mid Tower ($88)

Power Supply

XFX PRO 650W Core Edition 80+ Bronze ($80)

Solution
I would suggest going with an i5 CPU and use the extra money to upgrade your GPU to a GTX 780. Most games do not need an i7 to run and you don't need to overclock your CPU to run games at peak settings. The 'K' versions are for overclockers. Unless you are doing Bitcoin Mining, Folding @ home, Video Rendering or AutoCAD you don't need that CPU. Get a better GPU and overclock it.
