I am currently connected via HDMI to my flat screen TV, I have tried 3 different HDMI cords. And also tried hooking it up via VGA to a monitor. I Have replaced the gfx card, tried a different PSU. Tried resetting CMOS via jumper and battery removal. I have tried different ram sticks. I have tried draining the power via pressing power button for 1 minute after shutdown. I do not have a mobo speaker unfortunately to check beeps. Here's my hardware -

Gfx Card : Sapphire AMD Raedon HD 6870

Case : Alienware Area 51 (2008 model)

CPU : AMD FX 6300

RAM : Kingston 4 GB DDR3

PSU : Alienware 750W

Motherboard : BioStar TA970 Version 5.0

Anyhelp at all would be very helpful please. I am really behind in my online classes and I really just need some honest help please

Solution
It could be out of range for the TV, Try plugging the 6870 into a monitor at the same time as tv but you need to use the digital side of it not vga . Use dvi out or the hdmi from the card .If you don't have a dvi monitor using an adapter should be ok .Then you can set the range for the tv using the display from the monitor. Once you finished you can disconnect your monitor.
