Hi i have been having a problem with my custom built pc that i have had for 14 months. this problem has started in the past 3 months what is happening i will be doing something then my pc then it randomly reboots without warning and their is no Bsod or anything in the event viewer only that your pc has unexpectedly shutdown and it is driving me insane.
at first i thought it was a heat related issue so i got a new cpu cooler (noctua nh d15 cpu cooler) and cleaned all the dust out of my pc and fans but that didn't work
then i re-installed windows and made sure every thing is up to date still getting the problem
ran prime 95 for 6 hours with no problem then 2 hours later the pc rebooted
ran valley benchmark for 3 hours with no problems but then the next day the problem happened.
my Specs are
CPU: Intel i7 4770
MOBO: Asus ROG maximus hero vi
GPU: Asus R9 270x
PSU: Corsair vs 650
Ram: Corsair Vengeance pro (2x8gb)=16gb
cpu cooler: Noctua NH d15 ( in a one fan setup)
Case: Antec ninteen hundred
Monitor: AOC 27"
OS: Windows 7 professional.
HDD: western digital caviar blue 1tb hardrive
SSD: crucial 240gb solid state drive
Nothing in my pc is overclocked or has ever been overclocked
