Horrible Lag spikes in Arma 3

I have started to get horrible lagspikes in arma 3 which is making the game unplayable, my hardware can run the game in ultra with good framerates but suddenly I am getting spikes all the way down to 5fps every second or so, this is getting really annoying now. Also I am getting a problem where my whole computer crashes and I have to restart, any help?

My system:
Zotac Gtx 970 4gb
I5 4690 @3.5ghz
Gigabyte h81m-h
8gb ram (single slot)
1tb Seagate barracuda (7200rpm)
Corsair CX650M psu
Samsung S22C450 Monitor
Thermaltake Tt esports plunger keyboard
Logitech G400s mouse
I have my monitor connected via DVI

Check temps on your GPU/ CPU, clean from dust, reinstall GPU drivers.

It can be a motherboard or a PSU failure,Try running the system with RAM CPU HDD and motherboard only,don't forget to disconnect the power cables from the other components,and then tell me if it's keep crashing like that.

that's how ARMA3 works. you see it draws everything on the zone even if you can't see it. this is a known issue. as a result even high clocked corei cpus have issues with this title. your best bet is either to turn down your settings or overclock your cpu.

this is a 100% cpu bound title, so overclocking the cpu will help a bit.

Yes, but it didn't used to do that, it's only just started, so that's why I think it might be a system problem, are there any tools I can use to test the stability of my gpu and cpu?
