Max safe socket temp for FX 6300?

I own FX 6300, Asus M5A97 2.0 motherboard and R9 270(non-x) graphic card. Within few minutes of gaming, the core temp reaches 50'C, socket temp reaches 60'C and graphic card temp reaches 73'C.

I read that the core temp is fine as long as it doesn't reach 55-ish and for graphic card, 85-ish. Thus, I'm happy with those. I want to know if the socket temp is fine? What's the max temp for socket that won't hurt?

Use AMD Overdrive to check the thermal margin. The higher the better, but ideally it shouldn't get close to 0°C at full load, e.g., while running Prime95 Small FFTs.

When you hit 67°C it'll either blue screen or just freeze, anything below 60 is great, 50 even better. You also mentioned socket temp, 60°C is absolutely fine.

The socket temp is reaching the highest recommended safe temperature. It should remain below 60C. Are you using a stock cooler. If so, then replace it with an after market cooler.

Thanks for correcting. Yes, it is a max safe core temps. Safe socket temp is 70C under full load.

Max core temp on the FX 6300 is 67C, at least during my testing that was the point my PC froze. Max socket temp is around 70, though it can vary, I've seen 72 on mine but 70 like said above.

I would just like to say that this isnt correct. temp cant have been the sole cause of you system failure, I just tracked my at 69c and it was a little buggy but definitely didn't BSoD or shut down.
