Hello,

2 days ago i thought it would be a great idea to remove all the dust from my cpu fan, well , if i knew it would have led to this i wouldn't have done it. Before it was running at normal speed , with the usual ups when playing games etc.. Now It just blows at full speed the entire time. Just by putting it out , removing the dust and putting it back in. The noise it produces is so annoying. At startup it goes fast for like 3 seconds , then it slows down but then it goes back up. Before I cleaned it it would stay at low speed after going fast for 3 seconds
Does anyone has any solutions for my problem?

thanks in regard

Did you vacuum or blow out the dust or did you remove and re-install the heat sink? You didn't provide any info about your CPU and motherboard, but if you removed the heat sink, then it wasn't installed correctly (pins not fully locked in, no thermal paste or old thermal paste not removed properly, too much thermal paste, etc.)

I blew out the dust. And yes i did remove the heat sink. But i just removed it , put it back in and it is working fine again. guess it was not sitting well.

Thankyou
