Yesterday I built a pc yesterday I got the motherboard, ram, case, PSU, and etc. But I didn't want to buy a hard drive so i took out an old hard drive to put into new build it's operating system is Windows vista anyways I built it and I booted it up yesterday and I didn't hear any beeps everything was fine. Well I ran it and I see the MSI [delete for BIOS] and F11 for [Setup] once it'd skip that it'd give me two options: Launch normally or repair if I'd click on launch normally it'd be the same MSI [Delete and F11 for setup] to launch normally to repair basically a loop. So I clicked repair well 30 minutes later it says "it can not repair it" so I do it a couple more times but same thing. if any one has any insight on this it'd be great. also I've tried F8 to factory image reset. the hard drive is SATA btw.

You have an HDD with an old Vista install. It does not work in the new hardware.
That is the usual outcome. All new hardware usually means a full reinstall of the OS.

To 'repair', either you need a viable Vista install disk (which still may not work), or simply buy a new Win 7 or 8.1 install, and install that.
