The PSU must have (2) PCI-E cables .... if it doesn't then the wattage is irrelevant.

EVGA SC has 6 + 6
MSI and Gigabyte haves 6 + 8

Some peeps will use adapter cables and such ... and some of them see / smell smoke
I new PSU would be highly recommended.... Seasonic S12 is very highly rated by jonnyguru (9.5 performance rating) and has 1 x 6-Pin, 1 x 6+2-Pin

Do you think there is one at my local best buy? What do I need to know about the psu so i can buy one at a store. If no luck I'll order one online.

Connect the cable on the new PSU that look like the ones in top pic above....usually have a little tag saying PCI-E
