What do I do about both of the connectors there is no connectors to connect them to.

The PSU must have (2) PCI-E cables .... if it doesn't then the wattage is irrelevant.

Asus has just 8 pin
EVGA SC has 6 + 6
MSI and Gigabyte haves 6 + 8

8 pin may be supplied as a 6+2 connector

6 pin

Do you think there is one at my local best buy? What do I need to know about the psu so i can buy one at a store. If no luck I'll order one online.

Let me rephrase the question. What is the best psu for my overall build something that is cheap but with high rating.

See post No. 2
500 W = Minimum System Power Requirement (W)

See post No. 15

I new PSU would be highly recommended.... Seasonic S12 is very highly rated by jonnyguru (9.5 performance rating) and has 1 x 6-Pin, 1 x 6+2-Pin
