First and foremost THANKS for at least clickin this and checking my problem out!

Okay, so i just recently built a new PC for the first time and amazingly it works! BUTTT...I have windows 8.1 installed on a 256gb Samsung Pro SSD along with everything else that ive put on this computer since last week :) Right from the get go i noticed that my 1TB HDD wasnt showing up (didnt have power to it LoL) so after a week of running on just my 256gb SSD and just now getting my brand new 1TB HDD to show up in bios and in my disk management as an unallocated, unknown, not initialized.

My question is what HOW and WHAT do i partition this thing at or as?!?! I wasnt really confused until i started reading about the best SSD/HDD setup for gaming was and how exactly partition this thing for best performance. I have windows 8.1 OS already up n runnin on the 256gb SSD and i have a 1tb Western Digital HDD ...and that is it! SO in terms of best performance/usage for gaming how do i set this HDD up.....MBR..or GPT? and once i do that can someone tell me EXACTLY how to perfectly partition this thing? I do nothing but game and internet surf on this new PC, i know how to do all this already i just want to know if someone could tell me an exact BEST answer to this question lol After spending the last 2-3 hours reading up on this "im now so over it" topic im painfully frusterated and horribly confused now! Any help or time spent reading this piece of cake would be amazing......and yes ive read a million forum posts about this and all the basics im looking for an exact answer if possible, sorry if this is just a big confusing mess :)
