Hi,
I've already read some threads about calculating that stuff etc, but I understand nothing. So as a simple man I'm gonna ask directly : can Deus G1 500W Bronze 80 PLUS http://www.silentiumpc.com/en/deus-g1-500w-80plus-bronze/
handle Galax GTX 970 HOF http://www.galaxstore.net/GALAX-NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-970-HOF-4GB-p/97nqh6dnd2tx.htm
which is said to require Minimum 500W or greater system power supply (with a minimum 12V current rating of 42A)
Thanks for your help :)

Solution
You should ask yourself ."how long do i want my powersupply to last"?

Option 1: while this psu you stated will power your card because of maxwell's awesome energy saving however .the amount of strain you are puting on your psu is quite a lot. So if you dont mind your psu not lasting long. Then go ahead.

Option 2:
Buy a 600w or 700w psu. It is better .
1)will last you for years.
2)you eventually add another gtx 970 to it. Without changing your psu for years.
