BIOS Settings Adjusted and Windows Won't Load Now (CPU or Boot Drive Issue?)

I have a Windows 8.1 computer with a MSI motherboard, AMD FX-6300 cpu, and both a hdd and ssd. Now I will tell the story to recreate what I have done:

This computer was built about a year and a half ago. I had overclocked the CPU from 3.5 to 4.0 (Multiplier ratio was at 20, voltage about 1.42, cpu/nb voltage was on auto). Today I decided to follow a video guide to up my overclock to 4.3ghz. I changed the multiplier to 21.5, voltage to 1.4, and CPU/NB voltage to 1.23. Upon doing this I saved settings and reset. Windows loaded properly and booted up properly but after about a minute it got a BSOD. I try to restart again, I get into windows, this time it feels stable, I open up Prim95 and instant crash. I decided to change the CPU NB voltage back to auto, same thing happened. At this point I reloaded my previous overclock settings and this time it wouldn't even load saying that windows did not load properly and "Recovery - Your PC needs to be repaired". Next, I reset motherboard settings to default, again windows wont load and I get the same BSOD, says windows needs to be prepared. Next I go into BIOS and realize it has the boot priority on my HDD...

I find this weird because 6 months ago I got a Samsung 120gb SSD and used the data migration software to transfer my windows over to ssd. I realize I had never changed boot priority to my knowledge. I figure this must be the reason for the errors. I replace the HDD in boot priority with SSD, save and reset and it goes to another BSOD saying windows has encountered an error, it automatically resets goes into "Preparing Automatic Repair...Diagnosing Your PC...Windows couldn't load properly". The options I have are cancel or restore. So at this point if I set boot priority to HDD I get "Recovery - Your PC needs to be repaired" and if I set my boot priority to SSD I get "Windows Encountered an Error" followed by a restart and "Automatic Repair - Windows couldn't load properly".

I'm unsure if I fried my CPU while trying to overclock it further or if I have a boot drive issue. I'd prefer not to reinstall windows but as a last resort this would be fine. My only issue is that I don't have my windows license written down anywhere!

Any help would be much appreciated to get this rig up and running again. Let me know if you have any questions for me to clarify.

Thanks

UPDATE: So this is interesting. I unplugged the HDD from the SATA port as well as the power to the HDD and rebooted. Everything booted up 100% normally minus that drive and all its programs/info... I'll try to plug it back in and see if it works again otherwise I guess I know its a HDD issue.

It looks like both the SSD and HDD may have been corrupted; that's an acceptable risk when trying to achieve a maximum overclock. You may not have to reinstall; restoring from the full system backup that you hopefully performed before trying a higher overclock should be fine. Does it boot fine from the installation media?
