Hard drives not detected

2 hard drives on comp. neither detected. Switched cables and ports no change. Checked power cables, look good. Running windows 7 64 but. Obviously can't repair or install. What can I do? Don't think the problem is with the hard drive since it would be odd for 2 of them to go out at the same time.

Did you try and go to disk management? Try that if you have not then right click on the drives and format them. Hope this helps you.
