my brother printer won't print from my laptop

it won't print from my laptop. everything seems to be in order; my printer says that its connected and ready to go, and it will print stuff from my iphone but when i try to print from my laptop it won't send. when i open up the pending documents page thing it says the printer is offline, but if it is offline then how can i print from my phone?? help this is so confusing

Delete the printer from your laptop and set it up again.

You could also set your printer up again if that doesnt work.

I'll assume the printer is set up with a wireless connection since this is the wireless forum.
