Hi all! Earlier today I had an extremely dumb moment and I spilt water (maybe 2-3 teaspoons) through the top fan of my case and directly onto my GPU. A few seconds later, my PC shut down without any error warnings, and would not turn back on. I immediately disconnected it from power and tried to remove all of the water from the GPU. After thoroughly airing it out with compressed air and leaving it to dry for 8 hours, I plugged it back into my system and it booted perfectly!
However, my GPU is now making a faint clicking/ticking noise. It's less audible than my fans but it's definitely there and it's very frequent (2-3 clicks/ticks a second). Besides that my computer works completely as it did before.
Should this noise concern me? What should I do to attempt to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Card: Asus GTX 770 2GB
The water spilt on the top cover of the card and some of it got onto the board. I am not sure if it got any deeper (to the heatsinks/fans).
