So, I've been looking into getting a new pre-built computer, for gaming. I think I may have found one that will be up-to-date for a few years to come and I was looking to verify that due to a certainly limited knowledge of computers. I just want to make sure the specs could run games like World of Warcraft, Battlefield, and Far Cry at max settings easily. I was also wondering because I am extremely interested in a 3 monitor display if I would need to order a second video card with this computer? I don't want it to have to stretch its power to use all three of the monitors I would like to make it last as long as possible and if I have to buy another card, then that is that. I would also like to see any other suggestions you may have for a different computer. The one I chose is here (https://www.cyberpowerpc.com/system/Zeus_EVO_Thunder_Max)

You could easily max out games with this build, but you may not be able to with 3 monitors though, you'll need another card. It is extremely overpriced!

I strongly advise you to build your own PC and save quite a few buck!

If I did order from pc part picker, I would actually have to assemble it myself? Right? I don't know if I trust myself with 1500$ worth of hardware and trying to assemble it when I never have. Also, the first reply said it may not be able to max out games on three monitors, what do I need to upgrade to be able to do so?

To max out games on 3 montiors is a bit overkill, just as the build is itself. You'll definitely need a second 980 in your build if you go with the Pre-build PC

You would be so much better off building your own PC, no one knew how to build a PC until they learned and did it. I learned in about a month about every part of a PC. Everyone is afraid of fucking up their shit but it would be the best risk you've ever taken(It's no really a risk though)! You'll feel like you accomplished something when you build it you'll know how to fix it when it breaks or something. trust me, it's much better.. Plus we are all here to talk you through it! IT is easy as shit, I promise

But the choice is yours

I'm thinking about building it, but doesn't the pre-built computer have a second card with it? or do you mean I would need even another?

Oh it is SLI already. No you'll only need the 2 cards that comes with the pre-built...If your PC can't max out games with 3 monitors then than there is nothing you can do because that graphics card and build is just about the best you'll get

Please build your own & save the money. I built my computer for the first time when I went with my Xeon build.. best 7 hours I ever invested.

After about 3 hours (ripping out old stuff, putting all the new stuff in), I finally go to start it up.. won't boot. The CPU fan wouldn't even spin. Could have killed a child, I was so mad. Took the whole thing apart, installed everything again piece by piece. Started with MoBo, CPU, and CPU fan.. tried to power it on.. it worked. The powered it with one stick of RAM, it worked. Piece by piece I did this..

Finally, after a few hours.. I realized the stupid, rookie mistake I was making.. I kept plugging the 4 pin PSU cord for my fans into the MoBo, causing it to short circuit. I'm an idiot, right.. I was even more mad because I built it right the first time, minus that mistake LOL But man, it felt great when it booted up after I realized my silly mistake.

Point is.. don't be stupid & buy that prebuilt. Build your own, learn about the parts of your PC, and save yourself money.. now & in the long run. You'll be able to fix it yourself rather than paying someone else because you'd still have no idea what is inside your case. :D
