So streaming on my PC, suddenly it froze and the screen popped out saying that there's an issue and that it needs to restart; it also displayed a message that there is an error in my registry. I already tried using system restore but it fails every time. It's like this thing is on a clock and popes out every 30-40 minutes. Anyone had this issue and/or know how to get rid of it? I'm running desktop windows 8.1, Intel i7 CPU with 12 DDR3 of memory

Does this problem occur only when you are streaming, when displaying high-end graphics, or anytime?

" the screen popped out" - do you mean a blue screen? If so, disable automatic restart and record the error ID.

Yeah it's a blue screen with a frowny face. At the bottom it displays the error as: REGISTRY_ERROR. This happens pretty much anytime after the PC was on for more than 40min.

Download HWInfo and run Sensors. Run your PC for a while. Post the Sensors results - usually 3 screenshots in TinyPic, Gyazo or similar. This will show temps, voltages, etc

HWInfo will also show you the spec for all the components in your PC except for the power supply.

The CPU temp is OK

Your power supply voltages aren't. Get them from bios or your mobo utility software -= 12v, 5v and 3.3v readings.

Is this still on warranty?

And your GPU seems OK.

So my guess is that you need to replace the power supply. Check though. If any of those voltages are more than 0.2v from target then get a warranty repair on it if you can.

My warranty ran out at the beginning of 2015 :( What should be the target voltage?
