Can my old motherboad overlock AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition?

So im wondering that is my motherboad too old to overlock my cpu? And how far i can go?
My goal is 3.4ghz to 3.9 atleast. I do have 1 year old cpu cooler, cant remember name but it's good one.

Here are some specks:
Motherboard: M4N78 SE
Cpu: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition
8Gb ram
Asus hd 7790 2gb

Didint find my answer from google.. So if anyone can help me what would be nice!

Cant see a name but i remember it was " deepcool lucifer" + i have some few others, all over +50euros. im not worry about my cpu cooler at all.

My old cpu was amd athlon 245 regor :|, i overlocked that too from 2.9 to 3.3ghz.
I will overlock that 965 tomorrow. I just wanna be sure that i wont break my motherboard etc. I know how to overlock but im kinda noob with these kinds of thing.

Okey i made it, finally stable. I pushed 4024mhz. (17.5 x 230) with 1.488vcore. Just finished 5 hour prime95 test, cpu temp was 53c MAX! Im more than happy now! :D I will run prime95 for 24hour. Gotta make sure this is 101% stable.
