Will a hyper 212 evo fit inside a Bitfenix Comrade case?

It's been asked several times across the good ol' interweb, however!, just like anything you look up on the internet, there are mixed answers.....

I've found plenty of sights saying yes ("the Bitfenix Comrade will fit any cooler up to 160mm"), I've found a few sights that say no ("the Comrade will only fit coolers up to 155mm"), and I've even found a few sights that say "the comrade is a mid-ATX format; therefore, it will fit most coolers, except for the largest" (but just how big is that? they did not provide a reference.) .........

I would like to see a definitive answer, so if you have personal experience (or own the case and can measure how much depth it has for a CPU cooler), please share with me. WILL IT OR WON'T IT?

Just for argument's sake [that it won't fit], are there any good/decent coolers that are shorter than the Hyper 212 that will achieve similar performance? It'd be nice to be able to overclock my G3258 to 4.8GHz....not saying I will, just saying it'd be nice......just in case, ya know?

I haven't finalized my build yet, but I like the sleek but not too subtle design with the white color option of the Comrade; combine that with the cheap price ($35) and it is perfect for my build. (IMO, the NZXT Source 210 is a little too subtle and honestly looks like it came directly from the 1990s for me and is, therefore, a turn off).

If you have any case ideas that [would fit the hyper 212] and are not over-the-top while not being too subtle at the same time, I wouldn't mind seeing some suggestions. Color does not have to be white (or black) for that matter, just as long as it isn't screaming "look at me!"

THE HYPER 212 PLUS DOES NOT FIT INSIDE BITFENIX COMRADE!!
____________________________________________________________-

After scouring the internet for an answer, I didnt find a definitive answer so I purchased a hyper 212 plus. Unfortunately I had to learn the hard way, the cooler does not fit in a bitfenix comrade. The copper tips at the top are just slightly too long to clear the door, with some force it will fit but the door will be raised slightly when closed. The worst part is, I decided to clip the top to make it fit, HUGE MISTAKE. Apparently the cooler contains some type of vapor that liquefies when heated or the other way around, in short, the cooler finally fit BUT it stopped cooling properly and is now useless, the CPU reached 90c during full load!!
