When i first installed windows 8.1, the 500 gb on my laptop got partitioned into 2 disks , disk 0 and disk 1.
Disk 1 had about 30 gb and windows was installed on that disk partition.
The reason i installed windows in the small partition was because i wasn't able to install it on the other [It said that " windows cant be installed onto this partition because the hardware may not support booting to this disk."]
I read that converting to dynamic volume would help merge the two disks so i did... It didn't help.
Now I want to clean install windows but i'm not able to format the c drive in the os installation menu.
I tried diskpart but it says no disk is selected..........!!
Not sure what to do next..
Any help would be really appreciated.
