So I get this Acer E5-551G-81T9, advertised as having a
Bought this laptop new: http://www.leasy.dk/computer/baerbar/acer-e5-551g-81t9-baerbar.aspx

Quadcore Processor A8-7100 3ghz with graphic card:

Radeon R6 M265 with 2GB dedicated RAM

However, in my display adapter i see this:

As you can see it shows both the Radeon R5 and the Radeon R7 drivers there. Okay, that's strange, so I do the AMD auto detect of my GFX card i get this:

Apparently my graphics card is the R5 with no dedicated memory.

This explains why CSGO only gets 20 fps.

Am I missing something? Doing something wrong? Do I need to return this and demand a different one? Are all these models broken or just mine?

Im not trying to do hardcore gaming, just basic games with an okay FPS.

I am unable to download the specific driver, because it forces me to download "Catalyst", which then autodetects and installs the R5 drivers which are worse than Intel HD 4600 on my old laptop. How can I manually install the driver if they dont have it on their site?

But where can I set that? I tried to uninstall the R5 and now dxdiag and such is using the Basic WIndows Adapter not the R7...and like I said I can only install the driver from AMD using their exe file which doesnt let me choose the model.

Is there some way i can check, without breaking my warranty, whether the card is physically actually the R7 and not the R5?

I'm unable to select the specific driver using the tool they provide. It automatically detects by default allowing no customization...and when I uninstall the R5 drivers, here's what dxdiag shows:

So even though device manager shows the R7 installed in adapter, it doesn't show as in use!

Yes it does, and when you select this model it just redirects you to the Omega Catalyst software that then autodetects etc. Can't avoid it
