Hey guys.
I've recently managed to save up some money to upgrade my current gpu, which is a GT 440 from nvidia (i know that it's an old relic), and i can't decide if I should buy the Sapphire R9 270x or the EVGA gtx 750 ti sc. Their prices don't differ so much in my country, the gtx 750 costing 186 US dollars and the R9 270x costing 191 US dollars.
Links so you can see their full specs:
EVGA:Gtx 750 ti
Sapphire: R9 270x
I will be using it for gaming, so I do want to be able to run most of the recent games at a decent fps on medium-high (or even high).
I know that the r9 270x consumes more power, but the power consumption is not a problem for me.
My current pc specs are:
CPU: AMD FX 6300 @3.5 GHz
Mobo: Asrock 970 Extreme 3 R2.0
Ram: 8 GB HyperX fury
HDD: 1Tb Western Digital
GPU: nvidia GT 440
PSU: 500W Raidmax cobra
I know that many threads have been opened on this theme, but i couldn't find one that had these types of gpus.
My budget is limited at these 2 gpus so I can't buy anything that is more expensive.
Thank you in advance for your help.
