Hello everyone.
I have this mainboard from 7 years ago which has an eSata port on it. (asus P5kSE-EPU)
I recently bought a pci-e USB 3.0 adaptor to plug external USB 3.0 drives to it.
Now, comparing USB 3 vs. eSata, I think eSata is faster. (not sure though)
As I'm buying a new Asus mainboard, it is being hard to find one new model that comes with eSata.
Is eSata declining/extinct? I haven't seem many eSata cases/devices recently.
Should I switch all my eSata external cases to USB 3.0?
