I don't have any other parts with me and to get some would involve buying more. So I cant try another psu. Yes I did start to overclock my cpu, I started as normal just increasing the clock until I got a crash and then started to find the sweet spot as I didn't want to touch the voltage if I could., but my pc has kept crashing still even though I have reset the bios back to optimized settings. the only thing that I changed again is the xmp mode. Iv had this rig since January and ever since I started overclocking its been doing this. Do you know how I can fix it?

Try removing overclocks. It's hard without not having other parts to test. Try one stick of RAM also.
Try booting it without a Video Card.
Check temps.
Clean OS Install, if you don't want to do that make a bootable linux usb/cd to check if its your windows.

I have removed all overclocks, I set the bios to optimized settings and then just put the ram back into xmp mode. I know its not the xmp mode causing it as its been enabled since I made it and iv had no problems with it.
It just comes up with these spinning dots and the text saying "shutting down" as if I had shut it down my self. It tends to happen in between 45 to 60mins and even if I turn my pc off my self and then turn it back on it still remembers how long its been since it turned its self of some how????. For example say I turned it of after 40mins it would turn its self of in 5mins. Some times if I'm browsing the internet an error message comes up but its only there for a split second so I cant read it or get a picture of it.

I have a wireless card as the router is down stairs and there is no access port for a ethernet cable. I use the Asus pce ac68 5G network card and yes I am connected to the internet all the time. I haven't tried disconnecting from the internet as most of the work/games I play require me to be online.
So based on what iv told you have you got any ideas how to fix it?
