In terms of cost effectiveness, if I were to spend an insane amount of money to get a SLI Titan setup with high end hardware, averaging over $4000 in the build... would it in the long run save me money, as opposed to upgrading every single time I notice I'm not able to run at max settings anymore?
Should I be building for cheap, or should I invest and spend a lot of money with hopes that in the end it actually saves me money? I look at the dollar as a long term thing, so I'm fine with dropping money down knowing that I'll save.
But I don't want to spend useless amounts of money, only to find out that my hardware becomes obsolete to the point where it was no use buying it.
Can anyone help me out on this one?
