I'm looking for a decent quality gaming mouse for under $40 and stumbled upon these two on discount. I'd like some insight on which one is more preferable or if anyone can recommend me others within my price range. I do a lot of gaming ranging from rts, rpg, mmo, fps and tps.

im between that mouses:

You should get a mouse pad for any gaming mouse you plan on using as it helps with performance. Personally I would get the SteelSeries QcK: http://www.amazon.com/SteelSeries-QcK-Gaming-Mouse-Black/dp/B000UEZ36W/ref=lp_705323011_1_1?s=office-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1429563308&sr=1-1 as I and many pros use it and its helps ur mouse glide will still being able to maintain control ;)
