Hello,
I've currently got a 660 and was wondering if it is worth buying a 970? I play games such as battlefield and Bioshock etc. I just don't know if it is worth the £250 I'll be spending.

Depends on the resolution you play at and the rest of the specs of your computer.

I play at 1920x1080 and Use a i5 4670k (not OC) with 8gb RAM.
The jump to a 970 will be massive spec wise, but I doubt youll notice $329 worth of difference with what you play, you should wait till GTX1070 or whatever, till some game makes you want to have more power

Your card seems pretty capable. If you don't need more power it's not worth it. The 970 is about 2x as powerful. Check the comparison chart for some benchmarks.
