hi I am currently using an old version of iinets bob to connect to the internet and make phone calls. My mate told me that i should upgrade to the ASUS DSL-N55U ADSL2+ Modem/Gigabit Router/Dual Band Wireless-N so i can get 5 Ghz instead of the current 2.5 is there a way I can run this where it doesn't interfere with my new modems speed???

You'd need to know the spec or make and model of the iinet modem/router.

(no specs though)

Replace it with your new one and set up internet connection using the same parameters.

I couldn't see anything about a phone with Bob Lite.

You need to check with iinet. You'd need to get a VoIP phone too probably. Or have you already got one?

OK. Then you'd need to write down all the Bob Lite router logon info - passwords, user names, etc - see that webpage pdf I linked to.

So you can put it into the new modem/router.

What speed internet plan is it that you've got?
