Hello, new poster here.

I'm having trouble with my PC crashing (no BSOD, just freezing), and I think it's because of my graphics card. It will crash randomly when I play games or even when browsing in Chrome.

Yep, I've re-installed Windows 8, reseated the GPU and downloaded the latest drivers.

Have you tested your ram with memtest?
Have you tested your build out of thee case incase there is a short.
Have you tested it without the R9 290X installed? Does it freeze when you added the R9 290X?
Is it possible to test the R9 290X in another pc?
Could you borrow another psu to test your pc with?

I don't have another PSU, could that be the cause of the problem? No other PC either.

I will try testing it out of the case and without the GPU when I get home later, thanks for your advice.
